Biographical / Historical
Beverly Fleming (1930-2023) was a born in Mt. Jackson Virginia on his multi-generation family farm. After attending college and graduate school, he was employed by the Federal Government for a carrer in several departments. He retired in the 1980s and returned to Shenandoah County. There he seved two terms as chair of the Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors, at professor at Laurel Ridge Community College, was a substitute teacher, and served on many boards and committees.
