Sheryl Jenkins Collection
Scope and Contents
The collection contains fifty four (54) folders of materials. Eight contain documents from Jacob Windle Jr. Approximately 40 contain photographs connected to the Strasburg and Lebanon Church area and families that resided there. The remainder contain a mix of documents and farm records from the same geographic area. The collection dates from 1807 to 2000, with the bulk of the 19th century material related to Jacob Windle Jr.

Processing Information
Items were received loose and placed into a cardboard box for original storage. Materials were then articfically sorted based on available information. Jacob Windle documents were in fragile condition and were sleeved before being placed in folders. Photographs were also sleeved and foldered based on available conextual information. Some photographs mounted on black album paper had the paper trimmed due to deteroriation and lack of research value associated with the paper.
