Biographical / Historical
The bank robbery occured at Massanutten Bank in Strasburg, Virginia on April 27, 1900.
Dr. Bender B. Kneisley (????-1989) grew up in Strasburg and worked at his father's drugstore while attending Strasburg High School. He attended Roanoke College and went on to become a physician for more than 40 years in Hagerstown, Maryland.
