Abstract
Aerial photographs of Shenandoah County produced by Shenandoah County government for taxation and assessment purposes.
Arrangement
Collection is arranged chronologically by date photographs were taken.
For photographs taken on the same date, original order is retained. Original order appears to be based on unique identifiers assigned to each image by the company respondible for producing the photographs. For images produced in 1992 images showing the county's towns were uniquely numbered and are foldered separately.
Order information and supporting documents are placed prior to each year's photographs.

Shenandoah County Library, Truban Archives

Donated by Shenandoah County GIS Department, Chris Way Department Head.
Processing Information
Photographs were donated in original boxes. Photographs from 2000 were in production envelopes. Oversize items were loose and folded.
Photographs were placed in mylar sleeves and foldered. Photographs from different years were placed together.
Oversized items were unfolded, placed in oversize folders, and stored flat. Original envelopes and documentation was foldered separately from photographs.
